About St Helenas
St Helenas offers a mix of Rest Home, Hospital and Palliative care. Centrally located in the Christchurch City area right on the edge of the CBD, it is close to the main Christchurch arterial routes.
The whole St Helenas facility is easily accessible, with all rooms having full ensuites attached for the privacy and independence of our residents. A 19″ t.v and a small fridge are also in each room.
Two lovely outdoor courtyards with surrounding gardens provides a sheltered spot to enjoy the fresh air and in summer this is a favourite place for the residents to enjoy a BBQ

Facility Manager – St Helenas: Annette McGinlay
Experience in aged care: 32 years
I began my training at the Christchurch School of Nursing in 1970 and while her children were young she combined family responsibilities with work in Aged Care Facilities. She has continued to work in aged care and has obtained a B Com from Canterbury University.
Annette has a husband and two adult sons with four grandchildren who keep her busy.
