Facility Manager – Rimu Park: Ann McAteer
Experience in Aged Care: 15 years
Ann qualified as an RGON, and then as an RSCN and went on to specialise in paediatric emergency, she then swung the pendulum to the other side and began her career in aged care. She worked in several aged care facilities in Ireland before moving to NZ. In August 2011, she accepted the position of Facility Manager with Radius. She has been here since and hopes in a good many years from now to have her retirement party here. Ann finds it so rewarding to see elderly people enjoying life and being given a quality of life and a respect they deserve.
In between family and work she loves to read and sew and is involved in her local community church. She also enjoys camping and swimming.
