It features a central courtyard with a centrepiece gazebo and a BBQ area for friends and family to gather, as well as raised gardens and covered balconies with an outdoor pool table area.

Facility Manager – Taupaki Gables: Laurel Winwood
Experience in Aged Care: 23 years
Laurel qualified as a Registered Comprehensive Nurse in 1987 at Northland Polytechnic and then spent two years working as a RN in the Bay of Islands Hospital. Laurel then moved to Auckland and has worked in aged care since. She has been with Radius Taupaki Gables for seven years as Clinical Manager before accepting the role as Nurse Manager in July this Year. Laurel is committed to providing quality care for older adults.
Laurel has two daughters and in between family commitments, she enjoys reading, jewellery making, art and crafts.
